Ouch.

Well Thursday morning I woke up to really sharp pains in my side. I tried to wait for them to go away but they wouldn't so I called into work and called Jason. Jason ended up taking me to the urgent care on campus. After six hours, many doctors and many tests they discovered that I have ovarian cysts! Well, there is nothing you can really do for them but just take Advil.

Today I woke up and am feeling much better. I still have pain but it's not nearly as bad as Thursday or Friday. Woohoo!

It's all fun and games until someone breaks their ankle.

The other day Jason and I invited my roommate, Sean, and his girlfriend, Ana, over to Jason's house. We had a good time hanging out in the backyard by the fire pit and eventually decided to jump on the trampoline. We were all jumping when Ana suddenly stopped jumping, laid down on the trampoline, and began complaining about her foot hurting. The next day Sean took Ana to urgent care and it turns out she broke both her ankle and her tibia. Yikes.

Weekend Update

Saturday~

My mom came down to Tucson for the day to see my new house. I think she really liked the new house, especially the kitchen. We went to a few home stores I thought she would like and then to lunch. Then we went to the mall for a few hours and back to my house before heading back to Gilbert. Jason met me up in Gilbert Saturday night and we had dinner with my folks and Uncle Jay before heading to a party.

Sunday~

In the morning I woke up and made French toast for Jason and my dad. Jason and I went swimming for a few hours and then to lunch and the movies. He had to head back to Tucson after that so I went to see Julia who has been sick with a colon infection all week. She is doing a lot better now, but still in bed. I came home and spent the evening with my folks.

It made for a very nice, enjoyable weekend.

Well, not much is new, just the usual end of the school year hussle and bussle. I am all done with my classes except for my acting final on Friday. I can't believe I am already half way through college...it's nutso!

Random Karate Stuff

Well I have been hanging out at the karate studio a lot and I must say I really enjoy everyone. I love playing with all the kids and talking with all the adults. Here are some recent pictures (and a video) of good times at the studio.

Well I had a VERY busy weekend!

Thursday right after work I went to my first karate test and received my orange belt. After the test Jason took my friend Tosha out to eat and to see a movie. Friday I woke up and did some stuff around the house then helped Jason at the studio. A girl from the studio is moving to Alabama so Jay did an early black belt test for her as well as a going away party. I watched his niece and nephew, we went and saw Hotel for Dogs then we came back to the studio to watch the black belt ceremony and to enjoy the potluck. Saturday I woke up and Jay and I went to Gilbert to take home some stuff I won't be needing. We came back to Tucson and went to a BBQ birthday party for one of his students. Today I woke up and did Big Brothers Big Sisters. Now I'm going to go babysit then hang out with Jason. Yay that most of my classes are over and now all I have to worry about is finals!
