Good times.

Brittany Granger came down this weekend and we're having a total blast. Here are some pictures---

I came out of my room wearing this just to see if Brit or Alicia would say anything...

Ain't no place I'd rather be, next to you sitting next to me.

Trav picked me up and we headed to Coolidge for the Cotton Gin Banquet. When we got there we found Trav's family and they introduced me to a ton of people. They started the meeting and Trav's uncle gave the LONGEST prayer I have ever heard...easily five minutes long. Finally we sat down for dinner where we proceded to pretend like there were two extra people at our table so Trav and Waylon (his brother) could each have two steaks. They each ate their two steaks then helped Leah (Trav's sis-in-law) and I finish ours...sheesh! After the dinner they finished the meeting...did you know that only 47% of this year's cotton crop has actually sold? Yikes! After the meeting this lady came up all excited because I apparently look just like her neighbor so she took like 10 pictures of me on her camera phone, it was a wee bit awkward.

Next we headed back to the farm. Leah, Kathy (his mom) and I went on the porch and played with their new kitten...it only weighs 12 ounces! He is adorable and his name is Peanut. Trav finally came out to the porch and spotted the kitten and proceeded to carry it around the house with him the rest of the night. At one point Trav had the kitten on the computer desk while he was on myspace and the kitten backed up, right off the desk so we had to fish the poor kitten out from behind there.

Trav's mom has a new mule that she says is a blast to ride so I'm going to go back out there pretty soon and give him a shot then Leah and I are going to go to the new mall in Casa Grande. Should be fun.

Turns out that geeks aren't so smart!

Woke up around eight and got ready. Then I went and met Andrew and Wes for lunch. From there Andrew and I headed to work. I worked on the website for awhile then the boss from the other 4-H office called me over. I thought he was upset because I had been giggling uncontrolably (go figure), but instead he offered me another job...woohoo!

I came home and Alicia and I watched a few episodes of Rob & Big...we're totally addicted!

Went and picked up my computer from being fixed...argh! They're stupid people, don't take your computer to Geek Squad!

Now I'm just stuffing my face with Goldfish (thanks Mom!) and getting ready for an early bed. Have to be at work early so I can go to Coolidge tomorrow.

Whatever suits you tickles me plum to death.

Trav and I went on a date night last night since he would be spending this weekend in Coolidge. We started out by going to Starbucks and telling eachother about our new jobs. After doing so we decided we had, had enough of being sophisticated so we saw "The Love Guru". It was pretty cheesy, but I think we both enjoyed not having to think for awhile. Trav has a new job at Townsend's and they were sponsoring some drag races at SIR (Southwestern International Raceway) so we decided to stop by. I really enjoyed watching the races and hanging out in the pits.

Here's the one picture we took at the raceway:

Kind of a goofy picture, but oh well!

What's new?

Just finished off my froshman year at the amazing University of Arizona, absolutely loved it. Finished off the year with all A's and one B. For the Spring semester I took Dairy, Tractor, Economics, English and French.

Just before finishing school Alicia and I got a new apartment. We absolutely love it! We're mostly settled, just need a dinning room table and a few decorations.

The week after school got out I took off to Illinois with the tractor team to participate in the ASABE International Quarter Scale Tractor Competition. I was the light weight driver for the team and drove for one practice pull and two scored. I was 2nd in my first pull and 4th in my second. The trip was an amazing experience and I took so much away from it.

When I returned from the trip my friend, Andrew, scored me a job with the Arizona 4H Youth Foundation. I'm really enjoying the job, I'm picking everything up quickly and enjoy the people around me. I miss the old job at the shop, but one plus is I have my own desk instead of sharing with eight very disorganized boys.

Summer is going great and I will be keeping you all updated.
