Most college couples spend their Friday nights at parties, the movies, or dinner...BUT NOT JASON AND ME. Nope! We spend our Friday nights with 30 little kids. We limbo, we dress them up like mummys, we build forts, we dance, we act, and we have a blast! ---The video is them limboing.
Well I just realized that in the post below this (containing the trip pictures) I used damn twice instead of dam...I feel stupid.
Anyways the trip was a blast. Thursday I finished class, Jason and his parents picked me up and away we went. The trip went pretty smoothly and we got to Vegas about eight. We checked in and then grabbed some dinner. We went down and just kinda explored the hotel for awhile, gambled, and had a drink. We were all exhausted by then so we hit the hay early.
Friday morning we woke up early and went down the buffet. We were considered VIPs while at the hotel and got to cut to the front of the (very long) line every time we ate...hoorah. After breakfast we went to the Bodies exibit. I really enjoyed this exhibit. After Bodies we walked the strip and ended up stopping at Toby Keith's bar. Jason fell in love with this bar and we came back everyday for lunch. After lunch Jay and his dad went gambling and his mom and I shopped. We went out to dinner then went and saw Ka. It was amazing and one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the Titanic Exhibit. Jason is a hisory freak so he would read each fact off the wall then announce whether or not he had previously known that fact. It cracked me up because I don't think he ever realized what he was doing. After Titanic we once again expolored the strip stopping and shopping at differnt places. Once again we ended up at Toby Keith's and we watched some football games. We headed back to the hotel and saw Criss Angels' preformance which was officially the stupidest thing ever. We went to dinner then Jason and I went out for the evening. We first went to this lounge called Aurora and just talked then we headed to LAX night club. Once again being a VIP came into play and we got to walk right in. We danced most of the night and found a group of Med students to hang out with. When we got back to the hotel we watched this special with Jay's parents about a new, crazy-technological appartment complex they are building.
Sunday we once again hit the buffet then headed to the shops at the Forum. We shopped for awhile then ate lunch and hit the road. Jason's parents took me to the Hoover Dam while Jay slept in the car. We finally got back to Tucson about 11PM.

I had a blast in Disneyland. We left about 8am on Saturday morning and got there around 4. I slept most of the way but also enjoyed talking with Cokie and Tara.
Once we got there we went to Denny's for dinner and opened our birthday presents. I mostly got money (thank you everyone)! After dinner we headed to Downtown Disney and walked around. We came back to the hotel and hit the hay.
Saturday morning we woke up and went to breakfast where Tara and I blew out birthday donuts and Cokie blew out birthday toast haha...pathetic. We then headed to the park. We rode all the major rides on which Cokie and enjoyed acting terrified the entire time. Afterwards we ate a horrible lunch and Cokie and I headed back to the hotel for a nap. We went back to the park and stayed until it closed. I've decided I like the park much better at night. During the fireworks show we took advantage of no one being in line for Splash Mountain and rode it multiple times.
Sunday we woke up and went to IHOP, Denny's, and another Denny's then hit the road. Overall the trip was a blast and I enjoyed getting to spend some extra time with the girls.

What have you done today?
WHAT HAVEN'T I DONE? So far I have taught myself a chapter of chemistry, did a chemistry case study, wrote a paper about Greek gods, read 50 pages, took an online quiz, wrote a mission statement, studied for a test, gone to walmart, gotten groceries, and found a dress. I feel very productive.

Hanging out with Jay and watching Gilmore Girls =)

Well, I don't have class till 11am so I guess I could, but I always feel like I'm wasting the day when I do.

I fell asleep on the couch but eventually moved into my bedroom.

On a short term I'm looking forward to Jason coming over in a little bit and other than that I am excited for Disneyland and Vegas!

Friday I hung out with Jason. Saturday I hung out with Jason's intern, Don most of the day. Yesterday I hung out with Jason, Don, Matt, Chris and Anthony. Today I have hung out with NO ONE! I've been too busy.

First of all, let me just say that I HATE RED PAINT! URGGGG! Jason decided he wanted to paint one of the walls that was added on when he added another bathroom to his karate studio and well he decided to paint it red...WORST DECISION EVER. We absolutely cannot get it to not look blotchy. The wall now has about 6 or 7 layers of paint on it and still looks weird. Me and red paint are no longer on good terms.
Secondly, let me say I'm loving my new living arrangements. Sean and I had our other two roommates move out and now just the two of us share a four bedroom house which means we each have two bedrooms and our own bathrooms. It's so stinking nice. Plus, we get along really well. We have a blast together and it's a much nicer living arrangement than my previous one.
Also, I received my green belt last night. This means I am no longer considered a begginer in the martial arts program. I never thought of myself as a karate kinda girl but I am loving it.
Lastly, 11 days till my birthday! I am so excited for Disneyland and Vegas! WOOHOO!
